Organic Green Tea is one of the six basic tea categories and belongs to the non-fermented tea family. It is named for the green or yellow-green color of the dry tea, which remains close to the appearance of fresh leaves.
This product is made from selected fresh tea leaves through high-temperature fixation, rolling and drying. Fixation is the key step in green tea processing, using heat to deactivate polyphenol oxidase and preserve the tea’s fresh green appearance and natural character.
Green tea is known for three classic qualities: green dry leaf appearance, clear green liquor and fresh green infused leaves. Depending on the fixation and drying methods, green tea can be processed into pan-fired, sun-dried, baked or steamed styles.
Organic Green Tea offers a fresh aroma, clean and refreshing taste, and an elegant leaf appearance. For brewing, glassware and water at 80-85°C are recommended to present a bright liquor and balanced flavor. It is widely appreciated in China and remains one of the most important tea categories for export markets.
